CTC is a subsidiary of Aero Group, one of the leading providers of Shipping & Logistic Services in Qatar. The company has been reorganized in 2014 and new shareholders were introduced. Now CTC is driven by its Directors Sheikh Fahad Jassim Abdulla Al Ahmed Al-Thani, Mr. Abdulla Saif Y Al Mesalam and Mr.Kurian.C.Ipe.

PRELUDE TO GABBRO:

Searching to diversify our activities, we explored future market configurations and analyzed new fields of business. Our search culminated in our decision to commence Gabbro business in the beginning of the year 2012, after conducting intensive study in the field besides identifying their barriers and drivers. Thus CTC has decided to setup a 90:10 Holding Company in Sultanate of Oman as a Special Purpose Vehicle to cater our objective in tapping the resources in Sultanate of Oman. Furthermore the procedures for incorporating a GRADE “EXCELLENT” Category Company in Sultanate of Oman is in progress.

Sultanate of Oman is known to be among the countries producing high quality Gabbro aggregates. Hence we have acquired quarries there and our unit has started full-fledged production with working capacity of 100,000 to 120,000 Metric Ton per month. We are also planning to install additional crushers, to retain our commitment of supply.

Moreover we are at the verge of ceiling another deal with a new quarry in Oman which has all the requisite facilities in place and is strategically located.

All infrastructure and transportation facilities required for import of GABBRO products from Oman is fully organized and well networked. We have entered into a Joint Venture with M/S Al-Thuraya, a Qatari company for Storage and Distribution of Gabbro. We are also planning to come up with a SAND WASHING TREATMENT PLANT.

We are fully equipped to produce aggregates of different sizes as per customers’ specifications and quantity requirements and is ready to cater all the upcoming projects in Qatar including those in Ras Laffan, Mesaieed and Al-Lusail.
